Socially Distant Halloween Event Lets You Drive Through a 'Hocus Pocus' World

September 10, 2020

Freeform is using Los Angeles as their playground for their latest spooky Halloween treat.

Known for their 31 Nights of Halloween TV marathon of spooky movies, the company is taking their Halloween spirit to the streets to allow holiday superfans to drive through scenes from some of their favorite spooky movies - all socially distanced, of course.

From the comfort of your car, you can experience the worlds of some of your Halloween favorites, including "Hocus Pocus" and "The Nightmare Before Christma," in their event titled Halloween Road.

The company announced the event on their Instagram page, writing, "We're kicking off Halloween with a FREE, in person, socially distant experience in Los Angeles."

"#FreeformHalloweenRoad is an outdoor immersive event all behind the wheel of your car. If you dare, drive through the worlds of #TheNightmareBeforeChristmas, #HocusPocus & other spooktacular surprises," the post continues.

Tickets for the event will be released on Saturday, September 12 at 10 am PT. The event takes place over a few days from October 2 to October 4 at Heritage Square Museum in Los Angeles.

The event is free, but hopeful participants will have to act fast if they want to secure their spot.

Luckily, for those not in the Los Angeles area, Freeform's 31 Nights of Halloween movie marathon will be available to watch starting on October 1.

If you're relying heavily on streaming services for your Halloween movie fix, Disney+ just added a slate of Halloween movies to their lineup for you to enjoy leading up to the big day.
